Since 1999, Eddie Gontram has been a licensed general contractor, operating "Ten Penny Construction, Inc." as a separate licensed entity. Ten Penny Construction has produced several million dollars worth of new and remodeled commercial construction. Eddie Gontram was essentially responsible for design and construction services on the project, giving the Owner a single point of contact.
Now, Gontram is expanding that philosophy: Gontram Architecture is pleased to announce the creation of a new project delivery option for Owners. G5 Design-Build is an Architect-led Design-Build entity created for maximum convenience for project Owners. With G5 Design-Build (G5db), Owners now have a single-source option where the Architect leads the construction team, with single-point responsibility, maximizing control of quality, budget and schedule.
G5db can now lead the project team with different general contractors (based on market sector, qualifications, experience, etc.), providing highly-qualified construction services. G5db can maintain project budgets and schedules, while keeping the Owner involved and the project on track.
